My name is Martina McConnon and I opened the Creative Toyshop in 2008 when our two children entered preschool. I've been loving this experience ever since! It's a lot of work and a lot of fun having your own business, and I enjoy the challenge. How did I get into this line of business? I grew up in Germany, and when my kids were little, I often researched German website for children's products, just to see things that I remembered from my childhood. One day, I actually found a new product line on a German website that I fell in love with: CALAFANT cardboard toys. Creative, unique and hands-on toys, crafts for both boys and girls! Creative Toyshop is now the exclusive US distributor and we've recently added another new line, YOUNG LEARNERS games.

If you are looking for something totally unique & completely different but yet a cool toy for Christmas this is the place! I love toys that can challenge my kids' imagination & that they are actually interested in! We were sent the Dragonrock Castle that totally rocks! Below I have included pictures from the website plus a brief description & my thoughts!

Dragonrock Castle

Great craft project for little boys: This sturdy castle is easy to build and very fun to decorate. You can color in the lines with the included 12 markers (washable, non-toxic) or add your own designs with paint or other materials. This castle is going to last through long battles and jousting tournaments! Made from recycled cardboard. Approximate assembled size: 9" x 9" x 8" 12 high-quality markers included. A great and unique gift!

Our boys were super excited when I pulled out this box this weekend! Each boy had their own section to work on so a fight didn't break out over territory. It was just the right size to set out on their table to get busy with!

The detail is just enough to get their little imaginations running! After they were done of course used their super heroes on the castle for seriously endless fun! Perfect gift for any little one for Christmas!
